Polyester Hose Sleeving

GMIS is a woven textile hose protection. Designed for burst containment of hydraulic fluid escaping a hose rupture with force or a pin hole leak, the sleeve will dissipate the fluid safely, minimizing harm to employees and equipment. Simple and easy to install, the GMIS Series offers excellent abrasion resistance while being both extremely durable and flexible. The sleeve also offers UV protection for hoses. Additionally, the GMIS Series has been approved by MSHA for use in the mining industry.

Sizing Note: The sleeve size to use should be 1.5 to 2x the O.D. of the hose and target 20% extra in length and secure ends to the hose. This will ensure the sleeve has enough room to expand to properly contain fluid.

    I purchased 50 feet of the 1.78" ID Nylon Hose Sleeving (GMIS-44). So far I've used about 30' of it wrapping 3/8" hydraulic hoses, and the quality and durability is excellent. Before purchasing this, I was using a similar product that cost nearly twice as much. Finding an item that does just as good of job for half the price is a win in my book. The only suggestion I could offer is to maybe have some branding/lettering on the hose itself.

    I purchased the Nylon Hose Sleeving-(50')- 1.25" ID , I was very pleased with the ordering and shipment of this product ,shipping was fast and correct. I use this hose sleeve on my Power Washer hoses to keep them from getting wear and tear , I was replacing a hose every 2 months now its almost a year and no signs of wear this sleeve is super tough. We also use it for a sump pump discharge hose all though not its intended use it works great .

    We have used over 1000 feet of the Nylon Hose Protection Sleeve for the hydraulic hoses on our heavy duty roll-off trucks. The product is comparable to all the other brands we have used in the past. It holds up excellent in our rough application and the pricing is great! Thank you for the great product!
